Information About Us Passed to Third-Party Sites

Part of the information stored in cookies when sales pages on third-party sites are accessed from advertising links on this site is our unique affiliate or associate ID. The purpose of passing this information to the third-party site is so that we can get credit for any purchases you make as a result of our referral. We receive a designated portion of the purchase price for making this referral, unless you have cookies disabled or click on a link to the sales page on another referring site prior to making a purchase (our affiliate ID will be replaced by the one for the other referral site).

This information is passed by placing a special redirect link in the HTML code on the page, visible when you select “View Source” in your browser. When you see a strange-looking URL, do not be alarmed. For ClickBank it will look something like this: http://OurID.SellerID.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=TrackingID. “OurID” is our affiliate nickname, “SellerID” is the nickname of the product publisher, and “TrackingID” is a word or string that uniquely identifies the link you click on. This URL will not be seen when link tracking software is employed, but will be replaced by an URL that links to it. In either case you will be sent to the sales page for the product you are interested in.
